Another huge morning of Champions League action as the BetDeluxe teams find the best bets.

FC Porto vs. Chelsea

April 8th 5:00am

Chelsea will aim to return to winning ways after their humbling defeat to West Bromwich Albion when they travel to Sevilla for the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final with Portuguese powerhouse FC Porto on Wednesday.

The ‘home side’ overcame Juventus in thrilling fashion to book their place in the last eight, while Chelsea dumped Atletico Madrid out of the tournament in the last 16.

Sergio Conceicao’s side were rewarded for their efforts with a spot in the quarter-finals for just the fourth time in the past 16 seasons, and they have never advanced past this stage of the tournament since Jose Mourinho took them all the way in the 2003-04 campaign – losing to Liverpool in the last eight during the 2018-19 season.

From a Chelsea perspective, it had navigated its last seven fixtures without shipping a goal before a humiliating 5-2 defeat to the relegation-threatened West Bromwich Albion at Stamford Bridge.

Thomas Tuchel’s side do still occupy the fourth and final Champions League spot on the league table, and they head into the first leg with Porto having won six of their last seven in the Champions League.

With Porto unable to gain an actual home ground advantage, this game sets up well for Chelsea to take a lead in the tie.

Prediction: Porto 1 Chelsea 1

Suggested Bet: Chelsea head to head at $1.75

Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Chelsea head to head
Leg 2: Both teams to score
Combined odds = $4.10

bayern munich vs. psg

April 8th 5:00am

Reigning champions Bayern Munich prepare to take on old foes and last season’s beaten finalists Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night.

Nearly eight months have passed since Kingsley Coman propelled Bayern to European glory with a 1-0 win over PSG in the 2019-20 final, and the two giants head into this game following contrasting fortunes in their domestic ventures.

Bayern’s quest for a ninth Bundesliga title gathered steam with a 1-0 win over RB Leipzig, but PSG’s trophy hopes took yet another significant hit with defeat to Lille by the same scoreline.

With 18 victories from their last 19 outings in the Champions League under their belt, Bayern could become only the second team in history to tally up a 20-match unbeaten run in the tournament, with Manchester United the only team to achieve the feat throughout its brilliant 2007 to 2009 patch in the tournament.

PSG have their own sprightly young forward in the form Kylian Mbappe to try and thwart the threat posed by the Bavarian giants.

Mbappe was simply outstanding in the 4-1 victory over Barcelona during the Round of 16 which would ultimately set up the clash against Bayern tomorrow morning.

This is going to be fantastic game between two of the biggest clubs in world football.

PSG will be on the hunt for revenge but the form of Bayern and goal-scoring machine Robert Lewandowski will prove tough to hold out.

Prediction: Bayern Munich 1 PSG 0

Suggested Bet: Bayern Munich head to head at $1.95

Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Bayern Munich head to head

Leg 2: Total goals scored under 2.5
Combined odds = $5.25
