English Premier League Match Week 30 Tips and Previews, Thursday 1st April

Arsenal versus Liverpool takes centre stage for Matchweek 30 as well roll into more season-defining games for clubs at either spectrum of the Premier League table.

With the international break finally over, the Premier League is back underway for Matchweek 30 this Easter weekend and the best bets are in.

Arsenal and Liverpool headline the selected matches upon the return of the world’s biggest stars in world football to their respective league teams.

Chelsea vs. West Bromwich Albion

April 3rd 11:30pm

Chelsea welcome West Bromwich Albion to Stamford Bridge on their return to Premier League action this Saturday.

The Blues beat Sheffield United 2-0 in their most recent outing two weeks ago to progress to the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

Thomas Tuchel’s men are also into the quarter-finals of the Champions League and are well positioned in the Premier League, sitting two points clear of fifth-placed West Ham United.

Meanwhile, West Brom look destined to lose its status in top flight of English football with the season currently embroiled in a relegation tussle.

Sitting in 19th position with just 18 points. West Brom lost their last game to Crystal Palace 1-0, and now look to gain some valuable points against the in-form Chelsea.

Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kane is likely to miss with a hamstring issue and will still be without striker Tammy Abraham who continues to nurse an ankle complaint.

Regardless, this should be a Chelsea victory.

Prediction: Chelsea 2 West Bromwich Albion 0

Suggested Bet:
Same Game Multi
Leg 1: Chelsea head to head
Leg 2: Total goals scored under 2.5
Combined odds = $3.25

Leicester vs. Manchester City

April 4th 2:30am

Tearaway league leaders Manchester City make the trek to King Power Stadium when it duels with Leicester City on Sunday morning.

The Citizens are 14 points clear at the top of the division and also remain on course for silverware in the FA Cup, EFL Cup and Champions League.

There will be added sentiment in this game after champion striker Sergio Aguero announced he would be leaving Manchester come the end of the season.

Leicester, meanwhile, will be looking to solidify its spot in the top four with a win.

Brendan Rodgers third-placed men do have some leeway to Chelsea in fourth spot with five points currently separating the two teams.

The Foxes did suffer back to back losses against Slavia Prague and Arsenal to end the month of February, leading many to wonder whether or not the collapse was about to begin.

That would’ve been furthered by the draw against Burnley but then, they seemed to flick a switch. Leicester have since gone on a solid undefeated run to beat Brighton, Sheffield United and even accounted for Manchester United to reach the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

Very, very tight game to call given the form of both teams this year and Leicester do get the home ground advantage.

Prediction: Leicester 1 Manchester City 1

Suggested Bet: Draw at $4.15

Arsenal vs. Liverpool

April 4th 5:00am

Arsenal welcome Liveprool to the Emirates on Sunday morning in a must win game for the 2020 league champions if it has any chance of qualifying for Champions League through England.

It’s been a disappointing season for both teams but more so Liverpool who have struggled to gain any winning momentum thanks to a horrendous injury plagued year.

Arsenal, who expected improvement upon last season, currently sit in ninth place and while it has showed it can match it and defeat the top six teams in the league this season, consistency has been a huge issue.

The last time Liverpool faced Arsenal at Anfield it was handed a 2-1 defeat, but that did occur after the Reds took an unassailable lead in the Premier League.

The most recent Premier League clash came in September 2020 of this campaign and it was a breezy 3-1 victory for Liverpool.

The Gunners are currently without a win in two back-to-back meetings, but have lost just one of the last seven encounters across all tournaments and do seem the better value in this game.

Suggested Bet: Arsenal head to head at $3.10

Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: Arsenal head to head
Leg 2: Pierre Emerick Aubameyang to score anytime
Combined odds = $4.10

Manchester United vs. Brighton & Hove Albion

April 5th 5:00am

Manchester United will be aiming to get back to winning ways when they host Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League on Monday morning.

The Red Devils have had two weeks to reflect on their disappointing 3-1 loss to Leicester City in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

United are unbeaten in nine league matches, however, winning the last two of those without conceding, and are 14 points behind leaders Manchester City with a game in hand.

While on paper this home game for United against bottom-dwellers Brighton Hove & Albion might seem a walk in the park, reality says otherwise.

The Red Devils have really struggled against bottom-table clubs at home this season & are eager to turn around that dismal record around with a compelling win against the in-form Seagulls.

Not sure there is great value with United in this one at the head to head. Little bit worried about its ability to break down a Seagulls defence who will be compact and sitting back for the majority of the 90 minutes.

Prediction: Manchester United 0 Brighton & Hove Albion 0

Suggested Bet: Draw at 3.90
