The Detroit Pistons are on the road as they make the trip to face the New York Knicks Friday Morning.

Detroit was on the road to play Toronto Wednesday night in a game that was pushed back a day based on COVID-19 concerns and earned a 128-105 victory.

The Pistons were dropped 109-90 at home by the Knicks in their previous contest Sunday night.

New York was clobbered 119-93 on the road by San Antonio Tuesday night in their latest action.

In the all-time regular season series between the teams, the Knicks own a 209-176 advantage and after Tuesday’s victory, have taken the last three meetings.

The Pistons entered Wednesday’s action in the cellar of the Central Division, 11 games behind the Bucks for the top spot.

In the Eastern Conference playoff picture, the team is last, six games behind the Bulls for the final playoff spot in the expanded field. Detroit is 2-5 in the second game of back-to-back situations this season.

In those games, they average 113.3 points per game while allowing 116 points a night.

Detroit is a brutal 3-15 on the road this season with a -7.4 ppg scoring margin (107.8 ppg for, 115.2 ppg against) this season.

The Pistons are 6-14 against Eastern Conference teams with a -3.3 ppg scoring margin (109.1 ppg for, 112.4 ppg against) this season.

Suggested Bet:  New York Knicks to cover -6.5 point points at $1.90

Suggested Same Game Multi:
Leg 1: New York Knicks to cover the -6.5 point spread
Leg 2: Julius Randle over 21.5 points
Leg 3: Total points scored under 206.5
Combined odds = $5

The Indiana Pacers host the Denver Nuggets on the final night of basketball before the All-Star break.

The Nuggets are slowly climbing up the Western Conference standings as they have won three straight games and eight of their last 12 games overall.

Michael Malone’s picked up an impressive 128-97 beatdown of the Bucks in their most recent game Tuesday night in Milwaukee to move into a tie with the Spurs for the sixth seed in the West.

On the other hand, the Pacers started strong winning 11 of their first 18 games, but they have lost 11 of their last 16 games to fall into ninth place in the East.

The Pacers snapped a four-game losing streak on Wednesday against the Cavaliers in a 114-111 road win, and they will look to build on that momentum heading into the All-Star break Thursday against the Nuggets.

Nikola Jokic is in the top tier of MVP candidates as he has been an unstoppable triple-double machine this season (averaging 27.3 points, 11.0 rebounds, and 8.6 assists per game).

The Pacers have had trouble with bigs who can get their own shots and pass at a high level (like when they were blown out by the 76ers and Joel Embiid earlier this week).

Jokic is one of the best passing big men in the league’s history, and he will have ample opportunities to score or get open looks for his teammates all night.

The Nuggets will need players like Will Barton and PJ Dozier to take advantage of open looks as several key shooters in the form of JaMychal Green, Paul Millsap, and Facundo Campazzo (all shooting over 37% on threes) remain out.

Malone will be relying upon his secondary scorers  Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr to be efficient when getting their own shots.

Murray has elevated his game lately, having scored 20+ points in 11 straight games to help guide the Nuggets on its way to a 20-15 record.

At the spread, the Pacers have been in a lean patch and failed to cover in their last five fixtures.

If we delve deeper into the point spread form of Indiana, it has failed to cover on its last six occasions against a team with a winning record and that is what the Nuggets pose here.

The Nuggets, alternatively, have been very reliable in this area of betting in recent times covering the spread in four out of its last five games on the road.

Suggested Bet: Denver Nuggets to cover the -4.5 point spread at $1.92

Suggested Same Game Multi:

Leg 1: Denver Nuggets to cover -4.5 point spread
Leg 2: Nikola Jokic over 25.5 points
Leg 3: Nikola Jokic over 9.5 rebounds
Leg 4: Total points scored under 227.5
Combined odds = $6.25

MARCH 5th 1:00pM

The Oklahoma City Thunder are on the road as they make the trip to face the San Antonio Spurs Thursday night.

Oklahoma City was on the road to face Dallas Wednesday night in the first half of a back-to-back set.

The Thunder were battered and bruised in a 126-96 defeat at home by Denver on Saturday night in its previous contest.

Meanwhile, San Antonio hummed its way to a 119-93 home victory over the New York Knicks on Tuesday night.

The teams have already met twice this season with each team winning once. In the most recent matchup, it was the Thunder earning a tight 102-99 home victory on February 24.

Despite that victory for the Thunder just over a week ago, it comes into this contest a dismal 27th in the league in scoring offense with 106.7 points per game.

The Thunder is 18th in scoring defense as they allow an average of 112.4 points a night.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander leads the team with 23.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 6.3 assists a night this season and he will need to continue that form if the Thunder stands a chance in this contest.

The Spurs enter this contest 20th in the league in scoring offense as they average 111.3 points per game on the year. On the defensive end they are 12th in scoring defense by allowing 111.1 points a night this season.

San Antonio should be able to cover the line and get revenge on the Thunder here given it ranks higher in many key facets and when comparing individuals on the court.

Suggested Bet: San Antonio Spurs to cover the -6.5 point spread at $1.91

Suggested Same Game Multi:

Leg 1: San Antonio Spurs to cover the -6.5 point spread
Leg 2: Total points scored over 219.5
Leg 3: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to score over 21.5 points
Combined odds = $5.75
