Thursday Night Greyhound Tips and Previews, Thursday 25th February

Our experts break down all the best races from Sandown Park & Albion Park to find the best tips and values

Greyhound racing resumes from Sandown Park and Albion Park on Thursday night with plenty of value to be found in some handy dishlickers. \

Check out the previews and best bets below.

Sandown Park Race 3

#7 keep it blue & #8 do good davlin

Going with a two bet play against the favourite Zipping Rambo.

We’ll start with Keep It Blue who was brave in defeat behind hot favourite Mepunga Reject at this course and distance last Thursday night.

He did an awesome job to stick on strongly late in the race and ran good time for this class.

Drawing a wide box is perfect for him as well and if he can cross the favourite early in this race he is going to be very hard to run down.

The second of our plays in this race is the dog drawn next door to Keep It Blue and that is Do Good Davlin.

This dog from Wendy Neocleous kennel loves racing from the outside boxes and he gets box eight here which is ideal for his racing style.

He will get a nice cart into the race from Keep It Blue as the pair look to cross Zipping Rambo.

Suggested bet: Keep It Blue win at $4 and Do Good Davlin win at $6

Suggested Exotic: Trifecta 7, 8/ 1, 7, 8/ 1, 2, 7, 8

sandown park race 5

#7 jungle deuce

A faultless career to date with his five runs registering five impressive victories in New South Wales.

It’s his first time down south in Victoria after dominating the Wentwork Park circuit over 520 metres.

Having drawn box seven, it should prove no issues for him as he can jump quickly and follow the favourite ZIpping Zarbo from the one box who will ping the lids and likely lead in the early part of the race.

Thought he’d be much shorter than the $2.8 currently on offer.

Suggested Bet: Jungle Deuce win at $2.8

Suggested Exotic: Trifecta – 7/ 1/ 6, 8

Sandown Race 8

#3 RICCARTON RICK

He had a good record at this track and distance with five wins and four minor placings from eleven starts.

His run behind Tyler Durden last start, albeit beaten by just over eight lengths, was a pass mark and he strikes a much easier race tonight.

The last time he drew box three at the Sandown 515 metre circuit he pinged the lids and led all the way running a sharp 29.36 which is more than enough to see him winning here or at bare minimum running a place.

Suggested Bet: Riccarton Rick each way to win at $7 and to place at $2.10

Suggested Exotic: Quinella 1 & 3

Sandown Race 9

#7 RADEK BALE

Andrea Dailly looks to have found herself another smart dog here in the form of Radek Bale.

This one-year-old dog has failed to put a win on the board since the four victories in a row to begin his career but he is only just beginning to learn how to handle the caper.

He has not been drawn ideally in his last few starts either as he looks like a dog who will appreciate running wide on the track and box seven gives him that opportunity.

A flashing light run at The Meadows last start, when he was unlucky behind kennelmate Shima Jake from box two, is enough to suggest we can back him confidently each-way.

Suggested Bet: Radek Bale each way at $7 the win and $2.10 the place

sandown park race 10

#6 black avenger

Black Avenger was clobbered at the start of his race last week and nearly went for a tumble after starting a well-backed over this course and distance last start.

That interference completely ruined his chances and we’re prepared to give him another go here.

He still kept hunting down the line and chased hard to run bravely finishing sixth in what was first ever run at Sandown.

That sighter and a bit of extra luck here will see him winning this race.

If he gets a clean run at it keep an eye out on the clock.

Suggested Bet: Black Avenger win at $3.70

albion park race 4

#4 farmor watches

Farmor Watches looks absolutely primed to keep his undefeated record at the Albion Park 600 metre start intact.

He has four wins from four starts at this track and distance, and races on the three-day back up here after two solid runs of the 520 metre circuit at Albion Park.

The main danger Maggie Moo Moo steps back in distance from 700m will be trailing our tip pick by a big margin as she winds up her booming finish.

Farmor Watches looks the best of the program at Albion Park tonight.

Suggested Bet: Farmor Watches win at $3.7
